Holiday Inn Phoenix Midtown

The staff was kind and helpful, but the AC broke in the middle of the night and they couldn’t guarantee when it would be fixed…so, we left and cancelled our reservation. In addition to the AC breaking and the room being over 80 degrees in our room, there was a dirty sock on the floor in our room when we checked in. Not a great experience. Thank you to their professional staff for allowing us to cancel our weekend with them, and discounting our booking.

The staff was kind and helpful, but the beds are lousy, place smells like chemicals, and it’s so over priced. Over $326. So disappointing and makes me unhappy we are Marriott members.

The doors are not set property. You can hear them slam on every floor at all hours. It's ridiculous. I've never seen anything like this at any property. We've spent a fortune on points to stay at this far from restful hotel. Furious. Another really bad Hilton licensee. I've had better breakfast at a Hampton. The oatmeal was soup. Grey water. I didn't even see any oats. Dried out potatoes. Sad eggs. Chemical filled yogurts in tiny plastic containers. Just buy bulk Greek yogurt and put it in a bowl. Thoughtless and depressing breakfast. Here's the thing, all of this is easily corrected at a reasonable cost. They aren't doing it.
