Motel 6 Mesa North

I didn't even stay here; I made a reservation but upon pulling up to check in, I got a bad feeling. The place just looks super sketchy and some guy was mean-mugging me out in the parking lot. I canceled my reservation and this is where things get really frustrating. I canceled my reservation within the time-line to avoid fees only to find out that the very next day I had been charged the $100 fee for late cancelation EVEN though I had received a confirmation email that showed I had made the cancelation before the 6pm deadline. I called the corporate number and was told that it was the actual property that had charged me the fee and I would have to talk to them. When I got to the property and talked to the desk clerk (who couldn't be bothered to even get up from her seat and come to the counter) she said that it was the corporate office that had made the charges. I told her that I had called the corporate number and they had told me that it was the property who had made the charges. She said that I could call the manager on Monday and see about getting a refund, but honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up. Don't stay here!!!!

This motel is a dump! Nothings been updated since it was built. The only reason we stayed here was because all the other motels were at least 168.00 or more And they were quite full. Don’t stay here

Bed bugs in room 124!!! I really think that’s all I have to say. I am disgusted and terrified I will be bringing them home . Checking out and heading to a laundry mat to wash EVERYTHING in scalding water
