POINTE HILTON AT SQUAW PEAK

Just got checked in and Isaak was great at the front desk. He was super friendly, answered all our questions, and made the whole check-in process easy. He definitely gave us a good first impression of the hotel. Appreciate the hospitality and looking forward to the rest of the stay!

The room was nothing like they promised in the pictures. And there was construction everywhere in the back you could not see it till you was in the back. The rug was very dirty. You can through the door. the lazy river was very dirty. The elevators had graffiti on the walls. The was no insidentals in the room. The place was not worth the money i paid for it. I would never go back to this place and would not recommend no one to go to it. And the construction woke me up at 6 am.

If you are looking for a resort, this is not one. If you are looking for a motel to spend the night at, this is it. The renovated rooms are nice, but it’s truly like putting lipstick on a pig. The entire place is under renovation (i.e. the premium view is that of porta potties) but that doesn’t forgive the fact that the rest of this place is tired, rundown, dumpy and nothing like the photos it advertises. The “water park” (if we can be generous enough to call it that) does not match the online photos at all. In fact, the pools felt like the standards of a foreign country and had a sewage stench. Their other pools have been filled and covered with grass, so don’t rely on the aerial google map photo. I’m not even sure why they took a deposit because I’m not sure what I would be spending money on here. I read many reviews and I was hopeful with their refurbishment. But once the spa and restaurants are complete, it’s still a dump. And the front desk staff wasn’t very pleasant, but I suppose dealing with constant complaints may be wearing them down. And our friends were guaranteed an ADA room, but received a partially accessible room. If you are looking for a family fun vacation, I repeat, this is not it. If you are looking for a motel to sleep in, these renovated rooms are nice. We cut our three night vacation short, hightailed it to Grand Hyatt and had a beautiful time. Wish we didn’t even bother with this place!
