Bespoke Inn, Cafe & Bicycles

I spent 4 lovely nights at this charming inn. All of the thoughtful details, from the excellent coffee blend, to actual soft towels, to daily room service and bottled water made this a memorable stay. I enjoyed coffee mornings in the peaceful courtyard and afternoons in the rooftop pool. This trip was a totally random choice but so glad I lucked into the Bespoke Inn! The only issue I had was how loud overhead footsteps were- especially in the middle of the night. You may want to consider an upstairs room if this would be a problem.

Hotel is quite nice and was beautifully decorated with a small kitchen area to make coffee/tea. They had a wine fridge instead of a regular fridge, but was able to lower it to store other things as well. Bathroom was modern and also nicely decorated and the robes and slippers a great touch. Contactless does seem a little "cold" when receive the e-mail but they were on site so did get to speak to the front desk when checked in and was super accommodating and friendly. Parking was easy with all 3 spots available when we arrived and plenty of street parking as is in a quiet area of town. About a 10-15 min walk to the 5th ave shopping district. Is right next to a dog boarding house so in the day could hear dogs barking, but didn't disturb at night (although was woken up at 6am to them leaf blowing/mowing next door - guess trying to beat the arizona heat). Courtyard also serves as their outdoor restaurant at night so did need to walk through that to get to the room as well as after swimming in their pool. Pool was very nice and was a great temperature after a long day. Some chairs on the other side could lounge on and read a book and thankfully an umbrella since was so hot. Overall, was a nice hotel and loved the vibe.

The room was fine and it's a good location if you want to be by downtown. However, we were woken up around 7am every morning by grounds keepers blowing leaves up against our door. We were met with this the first morning, and thought being the gardeners had done their job, that would be the end of it for the week. It was not and we were woken every single day of our stay. Because it is next to an animal hospital, expect to hear barking dogs throughout the day. There is no office personnel on site except for an hour or so each day, so if you need something, you're on your own. Nobody was there when we arrived, throughout our stay, or the day we left. If you want to sleep in or relax in a quiet Inn, there are better options in/near Scottsdale. The negative experience was compounded by a person with no customer service skills responding to my text in response to their checkout text. I have no idea who it was because the only interaction we had with anybody connected with this property was by text.
