All in all this is a nice hotel with some resort like ammenities grounds are nice and views are decent but i think theres better value to be found elsewhere and theres certainly more luxury to be found elsewhere. This is at best a wellness resort with a very cool history so if thats the vibe you want go for it. Also side note gym is really small with a rack of dumbells that go to 50 lbs and more than three people would make it a sardine box. Not complaining im glad they had something its just a statement!

Stayed here for one night to celebrate a birthday. The guest room itself was very nice. However, the Mountain View that they advertise were mountains so far off in the distance that all you saw was the busy street right outside your balcony. The pool at our building was adjacent to the street that you enter the resort from and we did not appreciate so much car/truck traffic while poolside or from our balcony. We did dine in their restaurant and both ordered the ribeyes. For the cost of $60pp, we did not feel the price was justified for the experience. Overall, the guest experience was fine, but we would certainly not recommend the entire Tucson area. We were quite anxious to get back up to Scottsdale.

This was our 6th stay for a reason. We grow anxious as we slowly wind our way up the driveway and approach the Valet. The arched entryway into the courtyard must be experienced to truly understand the beauty you are about to enter. The hardscape and plantings look as if they were drawn from a movie set. We’re greeted at the front desk with a friendly welcome and make our way through the inner courtyard to our favorite room with a breathtaking view of La Paloma and the Foothills. We are thrilled to see our old friends at Hacienda del Sol (Summer, Ethan, Roy, Mason and Preston) just a few of the many who make this resort such a magical place. The Grill and Terraza offer the freshest ingredients prepared and served to the delight of your waiting palate.
