HAMPTON INN - SUITES TUCSON MA

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times over the years, so we were very surprised and disappointed to learn upon arrival that housekeeping is now provided only every other day. Since we are staying for only two nights, this basically means that our room will not be cleaned at all during our stay. What bothers us most is that we were not clearly informed of this policy when we made the reservation or when we arrived. For a hotel we have enjoyed and returned to many times, this was very disappointing. Guests should be clearly informed in advance about the housekeeping schedule, especially when it means that a short stay may receive no housekeeping service at all.

We had a great stay! We appreciated the large room with a kitchenette and separate bedroom with a big closet. Everything in our room worked fine and the bed was comfortable. Our room was very clean, and although it faced a gas station next door and another hotel, it wasn't loud and we didn't hear traffic noise from Oracle Rd. We were on the first floor. The outdoor grounds were clean and well kept with scenic views. There is a nice outdoor pool, fitness room, guest laundry room, and a spacious lobby area. There was a pet relief area with bags provided. There is a complimentary breakfast, and coffee is always available...and the coffee was good and always fresh! This is in a central location and driving to other areas in Tucson was convenient. There are many restaurants and shopping centers on Oracle Rd. I noticed that at this hotel and Tucson in general, the people are so friendly and kind. We would stay here again.

The room we stayed in was clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful and truly deserve praise. There is plenty of parking, and this is a great location if you are a tourist exploring in and around Tuscon. Attractions such as the Museum of Miniatures, Saguaro National Park West, Sabino Canyon, and the Sonora Desert Museum are all within a reasonable driving distance. The breakfast are is spacious and there is ample room for everyone to find seating with quite a nice ambiance for a chain hotel such as this. Breakfast was decent and there is abundant coffee to take anytime (important). Highly recommended!
