Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital

OK, I have to be honest, the only thing that kept the hotel from a three star was the staff. The hotel itself is unabashedly tired, but everyone that works there (I believe all Navajo) were great. Kind, accommodating and just made the stay all right. Fitness center, yes I use those, was about 90 degrees inside with broken ceiling tiles from someone trying to access the HVAC. Used it anyway, doesn't have to be perfect to work!

Stayed here 2 nights on a business trip. I’ve stayed here before when it was a Quality Inn but that affiliation has ended, reason unknown. The exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the 1950’s but it’s what’s inside that counts. I had a Queen room with one bed that was very comfortable. The size of the room is adequate for a business traveler or a couple spending a few days to explore the area convenient to Window Rock, Canyon de Chelly, Navajo Nation Museum and shopping for Native American art, jewelry and clothing. In fact, the gift shop at the hotel is small but offers a good assortment of Native American items. The room was very clean and this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at since COVID that actually vacuumed the room and changed bed and bath linens daily without a request. The onsite restaurant is convenient with a free hot breakfast and a good lunch and dinner menu. The service staff is very friendly and responsive. For dog lovers like me, the hotel is dog friendly. As far as I’m concerned it’s the best place to stay in the area and definitely worth considering rather than the corporate chain hotels in Gallup.

What a great spot. We've been on a road trip and this is our favorite place so far! Conveniently located just off the 2 lane highway, google maps led us to a medical facility just next door. Check-in was smooth and the front desk employee was as sweet as can be. It was her first week working. She will definitely be an asset to this property. Surrounded by large rock formations, the area is very spiritual. Having just settled into our room, we find the most comfortable beds, beautiful carpeting for noise reduction and a spacious, very clean space! This is a well-maintained property. Our plan tomorrow is to explore all the cultural attractions this town has to offer. We've been here for an hour and are already making plans to return for a longer stay!
