Best Western Coronado

We had to leave after one night due to cleanliness issues. Our first room had an unmade bed, and the second room had cockroaches and dog hair on the bedding. We checked out early and found another hotel. Front desk provided checkout documentation, but the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. Would not stay again.

Since it changed ownership the hotel has definitely gone down hill. Room showed a lot of wear. The smoke detector was missing. Sheets were clean. Minimal number of towels in the bathroom. There was a coffee maker and ice bucket.

The room was spacious and very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I have no issues with the hotel itself. The problem I had was the noise. The Historic Coronado Hotel is located on the main drag of Yuma and the traffic noise, especially from motorcycles lasted until two am and then started up again at five am. Also, there is a fire station a block from the hotel and there were sirens throughout the night. I only got about three hours of sleep.
