Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Yuma

We needed to stay overnight on our way to San Diego for a visit to Sea World. We arrived near check in time, but stopped at Arby's next door for a good dinner before checking in. Having a good dinner experience just added to a good night in Yuma. Everything about the hotel is what I would expect from an upper-mid level brand. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was nice and clean with many conveniences such as plenty of electrical and USB outlets. There was even an ethernet port by the desk. We didn't use the internet for our one night stay, but we watched TV a bit, and everything worked as it should. I would definitely recommend this hotel for one or more nights if you need to be in the area. The location is convenient as it is between the town of Yuma and the Fortuna area (closer to Yuma, but just off the interstate). The lighting was good and convenient, the bed was very comfortable, and the property in general is attractive and well maintained inside and out. Oh yeah--breakfast was good, with plenty of variety. This location is definitely on our list for future trips through the area.

I travel a lot for business and sometimes I need to leave last minute. Let me tell you, the staff here goes above and beyond in helping with my stay. Checking in, Kasandra and Ricardo were the BEST! I got nothing but great vibes and welcoming attitude from them. Throughout my stay, I also had the pleasure of interacting with Christian and Pedro. They gave me excellent local-spot restaurant recommendations. Let's just say I'd rather sleep in my car than stay anywhere else.

My friends and I needed a place to stay, late at night. And we stumbled at the Holiday Inn Express. Both front desk agents Ricardo and Cristian, were amazing to talk to and were able to provide us with a great price and check us in fast. I highly recommend this hotel, staff were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. 10/10 experience
