Best Western Guest Inn

Morning staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Off the highway so you can hear trucks passing through the night.....Checked in on a Wed evening and not impressed by late night staff. Cranky and seemingly annoyed we existed. 2nd night asked for towels (we not replaced) and again he was treating us not like paying guests. Avoid night staff here. This man was just not wanting to work I think.

The room needs to be updated and/or deep cleaning. The bedding smelled strongly of cleaning products or possibly stale smoke that is lingering. We were in a non-smoking room. The location was convenient to the university, but difficult to get in/out due to traffic.

This hotel is overpriced for the lack of guest service provided. Several front desk employees were unfriendly and one answered the phone with “Hello” and nothing else to designate the hotel or who they were greeting guests. The bathroom was not caulked and dirty with mold. I was woken up every night by loud guests and other people who weren’t staying here yelling all hours of the night. The room itself was not very clean. I left early due to these issues and would never stay here again. It is unfortunate being a nice beach town to take such little pride in their offering. It is more like a motel than a best western.
