South Shore Cottages

Made a reservation ~ 15 days before traveling. Showed up to check in.... Them: "Uhm, did you make a reservation" Me: Yes, with Expedia Them: "You should have called us" Me: ----- Me: (Did they say that out-loud?) Them: we're closed Me: uhmmmmm, what???? No phone call. No email notification. Apparently, I should have called to see of they were still open - even though they were still open? So, that was that. I got walked. Drove 30 minutes to Greenville, MS and found a Holiday Inn that had availability thankfully. In the summer though? I might have been in a really tough spot. -- I travel a lot, 100,000 airmiles a year. I roll with the punches of traveling a lot. Things happen, I get it. But, to have staff tell me 'uhm, we're closed, no room for you' and have no idea they had bookings... and then not to call their customers, or send a courtesy email? I don't think I've experienced that in 15 years of traveling. So, yeah, you have been warned.

the one bedroom cabin had everything we needed, was pet friendly cool air and good food at the store restraunt, cabin was right by the boat ramp. we spend 5 days and will be back. watched the 4th of july fireworks from front porch, was a great week

The Property owner attitude sucks!!! The Manager customer service was great. He apologized for the inconvenience but the property owner continue to complain about money instead of fixing the problems.
