Economy Inn

I checked in here because Best Western was going to charge $25 for early check in,never heard of this, I came to the econo lodge, two blocks down the street, they took care of my request, and here I am, the reviews seemed a little mis leading, I can find nothing wrong, I have walked all over the carpet, with brand new white socks they are clean, so I can see no reason for a bad review

I know that you get what you pay for, BUT...... was on a coast-to-coast road trip with my son, and we had to stop for the night due to hazardous weather/driving conditions. Bedsheets had burn holes in them. Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed due to broken door catch. Pretty shabby inside, and not even a clock in the room. The only plus -- front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating when we checked in very late at night.

After Long day of travel we found the EconoLodge had the only room left in town. We took it. The room had great Wifi and the TV worked. Overall the place appeared dirty and had holes in the curtains, Stained towels and bathmat. Very worn mattress and overused pillows. No security lock on the door, Refrigerator did not work right and was noisy. Stay somewhere else if at all possible, this clearly is not a choice hotel and should have its affiliation revoked.
