Best Western Duck Inn

Older hotel with reasonable rates and Clean rooms and linens. Friendly and courteous staff. Easy access from highway and room enough to park our car trailers. Ceiling and caulking a bit rough but is okay. Will definitely stay again. I have stayed here before and was always good. I was leery since I saw multiple bad reviews lately saying it was filthy and had bed bugs-We found No Evidence of bed bugs and we searched the room from top to bottom. Very clean room and comfortable bed.

The first room we were put in smell awful of smoke. No one was ever at desk. Our second room the shower had broken faucet, no stopper in sink, hole in ceiling about toilet with a wash cloth plugging it

Bit by bugs, fake electrical socket plates on headboard, soiled dirty linen, most actual electrical sockets do not work, no iron/ironing board in unit, toilet top fell on the floor, bottom seat slid around, bathroom walls were dirty with splashes of something unknown[room 103]. The 2nd room, 101 - the jets on the tub were dirty and russt. The outside shrubs had been manicured and growing wild. There were also fake ugly sockets on the headboard. It was disgusting and horrendous. Bed bugs bits required me to go to Baptist Health Center for treatment due to the swelling and inflammation; prednisone injection received and benadryl was prescribed.
