Budget Inn & Suites

Jacuzzi or indoor hot tub had love bugs coming out of the pipes for the jets. I do not know how or why this happened. All I know is that it ruined my experience and had to get into another room because some started flying around and getting on the pillows and bed. The attendant luckily had a room available for us to move too. So props to that.

My original booking was a standard room with no coffee maker. The manager upgraded me to a premium room with coffee and a coffee maker. Coffee was provided for 4 days but no maid service on the 5th day. I went to the office to ask for coffee but they wouldn’t give me coffee. The manager said he gives out coffee when he wants to and he thought I had enough. He was rude and yelled at me that I don’t deserve coffee. His supervisor then came out and threatened to turn off the water to my room.

We booked in advance as we needed to be in Santa Ana area for the following day. We called to let them know we would be arriving late & when we arrived we went to reception. The reception smelt like a badly run indian restaurant. Parking was limited. We went to our room and found it to be shabby & uncared for. The air conditioning unit was missing the switch panel and I had to put my hand into it to switch the micro switches. VERY UNSAFE. The bathroom light didn't work so you couldn't use the mirror. The hair dryer consisted of a bracket but no hair dryer and the plug next to it didn't work either! When we complained the next day they told us we should have complained when we arrived. It was 1245am ! We just wanted to sleep.
