BW Meridian Inn and Suites

This place is a complete dump and not worth even messing with thinking about staying at. I used to live nearby there but now live in another state, when I was visiting recently I decided to stay here since I always had seen it and it looked good from the outside. Upon entering the lobby I immediately realized this wasn’t as good as I thought. The lobby had multiple water leaks from the ceiling, one of which was flooding the floor. It was a mess. When I parked I entered through the back door that wasn’t even locked despite having a card reader, the stairs were all falling apart with chipped paint, the elevator was broken. My room was just as bad, the floor was severely stained, the room was so humid with the ac not helping, the bed had badly stained sheets. I went to the lobby and they gave me a new room that wasn’t much better but the sheets were clean at least, it was late so I just put up with how it was at that point. In the morning after a night of not good sleep because of how the place was I realized as I was leaving I saw how even more falling apart the hallways were, I couldn’t believe how much of a dump the place was. I would never stay there again

Extremely disappointing experience. I spent over a week researching hotels near Disneyland and specifically booked a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen based in part on the photos shown for the room. Those photos showed a bedroom with French doors opening toward what appeared to be a terrace/balcony. When we arrived, the room we were given was nothing like what was pictured. When I questioned the front desk, I was first told the photos were posted “in error” and that they didn’t even have rooms with those doors. I pointed out that I could literally see rooms on the property with those exact doors. Then I was told those were presidential suites. When I asked for the manager, the explanation changed again: I was told they DO have those rooms, but they were all occupied. That was incredibly frustrating. Regardless of whether the wrong photos were posted intentionally or accidentally, those were the photos presented when I made my decision to book. To their credit, the hotel offered a full refund when I complained. However, that left us near Disneyland with NO ROOM and needing to find another hotel at the last minute. No one offered to help us find comparable accommodations. We eventually found somewhere else, but it cost approximately THREE TIMES as much and didn’t even have the accommodations I had specifically spent so much time looking for. I appreciate receiving the refund, but this situation caused a major inconvenience and significant additional expense that could have been avoided if the room had been accurately represented from the beginning. If you’re considering booking here, I strongly recommend calling the hotel and confirming that the photos shown for your specific room type actually represent the room you will receive.

So we were going to Disneyland and trying to save some money. We had stayed here years before and decided to try it again. We wanted to love it this time, especially for the price, but it just wasn’t up to par. Pros: 1. American/hot breakfast was great 2. free parking 3. Beds felt clean and were comfortable. 4. Room was spacious and the AC in the room worked fantastic Cons: 1. the lobby, elevator, and breakfast area were not air conditioned and it was August during an intense heat wave. It was miserable. We also had a room on the street side with glass-hallways that felt like an oven. 2. They informed us at check in that there was no daily housekeeping so we were told to just ask if we wanted the room to be serviced. We checked in on a Saturday for a 6 night stay - and asked for housekeeping on Monday night. They told us someone could come bring new towels and empty trashes on Tuesday and do full room tidying on Wednesday. No one came on Tuesday so I had to go request towels at the front desk and place the full trash bags and old towels out in hall. They were eventually picked up. We checked Tuesday night that someone would come on Wednesday and they said “if you requested it, you’re on the list.” No one came on Wednesday either. 3. Kids felt like the pool was pretty dirty- lots of bugs and debris. 4. Every doorway was really hard to push the luggage cart through. The thresholds caught the wheels and we had to lift the cart over them to get through. Our stuff fell off the cart a couple times. 5. The bathroom was pretty rough looking. Some dark moldy looking spots on the grout between the wall and floor in the toilet room. The front of the toilet seat has a stain that was probably one that wouldn’t come off- should have been replaced. Big drip marks on the bathroom door, probably from someone drying their hands and flinging water. 6. No dressers or drawers to unpack your stuff. We had five people and it was challenging to find a place for everyone’s clothes 7. Not enough hooks to hang towels to be re-used, especially when you never know if housekeeping will show up or not. If you only need a day or two in the winter, this would be a fine place to land. For a longer trip, it really needs better service.
