Hilton Suites Anaheim/Orange

We booked this hotel for one night to attend a Los Angeles Angels game. The hotel is in walking distance to the ballpark - about 1/2 mile and is on a well-traveled and nicely lit street. The room was the typical Embassy Suites room, but just a little tired, - adequate but not memorable. I am not sure what the gorgeous fountain is in the picture the hotel presents, because we did not see that at all! The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and it was close to the stadium (and I guess Disney - but it's about baseball.). The hotel is off a highway and has a large lot and they still charge you $32/night for self-parking. The breakfast was above average with a nice omelet station.

I had a great stay here. Tiffany was exceptionally helpful with booking another vacation in the future.

First off i have to say we booked this hotel mainly because they advertised that they have a shuttle that you can book and have unlimited to/from transportation to disneyland. $6 for adults and $3 for children. Tell me why, when we checked in, they then choose to tell us that the shuttle only ran on the weekends and that during the weekdays, they only had a driver in the afternoon? The told us “we were on our own” with transportation during the week in the mornings but could book their shuttle for the afternoons? Why even advertise this as a selling point on your website knowing darn well you dont even have the proper staffing! Not to mention, they were trying to charge us “full price” for booking their shuttle service for using it only during the afternoon when their “driver” was working! So if you are depending on their shuttle service to take you and your family to/from disney whether am/pm……dont count on their shuttle services at all! Also, Wendy at check in wasnt friendly or welcoming. Even the housekeeper who cleaned our room, was not friendly either. We did enjoy having breakfast daily but staying there for more than 5 days with the same breakfast options got old. The bartender at the reception was very friendly. Overall, front desk staff needs to be alot more welcoming and not once did i see smiles on anyones faces whenever we came back to the hotel! No “welcome back”, or “have a good night”, nothing……they jus watch you walk right by them! So weird! Our room spacious but the shower was a mess! The water literally got everywhere all on the floor and we had to literally pile up all the towels to suck up the water that end up on the floor after we all took a shower. I did like how it was close to disneyland which is why we booked it but very disappointed in the false advertisement and then trying to make us pay full price for transportation only in the afternoons? We do disneyland as soon as it opens! Thats why we booked you!
