HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ANAHEIM MAINGATE

Great choice! I have stayed here before for other Disneyland trips but this is the first time I tried the restaurant/bar. I enjoyed the fish tacos and green salsa so much (an AMAZING deal during happy hour) that I went back the next night for dinner again. Salvatore in the front and "cook" in the back were great and I am looking forward to my next visit! All the staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland which was my destination.

This hotel doesn’t have the same vibe as some of the other Indigo hotels I have visited. The vibe is more budget than funky. It’s more like a Holiday Inn. Lots of families around due to the proximity to Disney. Room was comfortable and quiet. With IHG Diamond status, I ordered an omelet in the Breakfast cafe which was well prepared. Weird that everything was à la carte. Eggs but toast is extra? This is the way the company treats its best customers?

Solid hotel near Disneyland and Angels stadium. Convenient location to the highway for getting around. Restaurants, shopping, attractions, within walking distance. While the rooms are fresh and clean, It feels like this this a rebranded hotel versus some of the other Indigos I’ve stayed at. Front desk is helpful and always available. Included parking is a plus. With many choices in this area, this hotel is worth checking out.
