We decided to stay here for the convenience of our stay and amenities such as the kitchen. Upon arrival our first room was slightly dirty and we were in a bit of a rush to make it to our concert. The two individuals at the front Karen and unsure of the other employees name was exceptional in making the moment right. They sympathized with my girlfriend and made us feel comfortable to ask for help and it was a genuine experience. Typically since I myself work in customer service I could tell they were not bothered to help us at all. Throughout our stay they continued to make connections asking how we were doing and how our stay was. Pam was also an exceptional employee never seeming bothered by our questions and providing a helping hand. Overall wonderful stay. 10/10 would stay again simply because of the service.

I honestly wanted to love this hotel. I did a LOT of research. We were traveling with our teenage son and his 2 friends. We absolutely wanted a place with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, we absolutely needed a pool. This place was fairly close to Disneyland, it’s been recently renovated, had a pool and included breakfast, seemed perfect! The recent reviews since the remodel had been good and the price was right. Upon arrival, the staff was incredibly friendly and check in was super easy. The remodel looked really nice and the hotel was super clean. We got to our room and found that it was also super clean. The quality of the remodel left something to be desired however. Our king bed room had 2 small doors that swung together to close and had a fairly large gap in it, enough that with teen boys in the rom we felt the need to cover it while we were in our room. You could where every noise of every single neighbor also, above, below, in the hall, across the hall. It’s not good. The toilet took forever to flush. The water heater that ran the boys shower was incredibly loud and made the noise the entire time the shower was running. Again, we could hear it across the living with their door shut and in our room with our questionable door shut. The pool was open when we arrived so the boys went down. They said it was really busy (which is fine) but pretty dirty (but again it was busy and near the end of the day). The next day when we went for breakfast we found it underwhelming. There were no breakfast tacos which is what their website and reviews seem to rave about and the food quality was poor, even for a hotel buffet. It was a full park day so we never checked the pool. Monday was a shorter park day so the boys went down to swim but found the pool closed. There was a crew working outside of the building on the siding so we figured it was that day. Tuesday was a rest day, the pool was again closed all day. No one noticed us it would end up being closed while we were there. Called the front desk and they said it would remain closed for the week. I was really upset about that as a pool was one of the top things we were looking for. We weren’t told even at check in when the pool hours were discussed that it would be closing in the upcoming week. This wasn’t acceptable to us. I get things happen but we should have been notified, that was really unprofessional. The breakfast for the rest of the days did include the breakfast tacos but I couldn’t tell you what the mushy meat was and I wasn’t going to try it honestly. The only reason we’re giving 2 stars is due to the staff/customer service and the cleanliness of the hotel. I wouldn’t ever book there again sadly, even for their low prices.

I paid over $1,700 for a “renovated” room and what we got was unacceptable.
There was blood on the blackout curtain (see photos). The room on the surface was clean, however the sink, floors, and shower were not. I had to clean someone else’s hair out of the shower before we could use it. The closet doors were broken, there were no hangers, and there wasn’t even a headboard in what was supposed to be a renovated room.
The water temperature was dangerously hot (we burned our hands more than once), the toilet barely worked, and the bathroom door handle was falling off.
The “renovation” was incomplete. The living room had some new furniture, but the rest of the suite was outdated, damaged, or missing items. The pullout couch still had dirty sheets on it, and there were no comforters on any of the beds. We asked for blankets and received rough dingy blankets that looked like they had been melted by the dryer. One of my daughters actually ended up with a burn from one.
The kitchen was not equipped for a suite that sleeps 8—no pots or pans, limited utensils, dirty dishes, and a broken refrigerator. There wasn’t even a proper trash can.
The second bedroom and bathroom were worse. Food on the floor, lumpy beds, broken closet doors, and a bathroom that was clearly not cleaned properly. The shower rod was pulling out of the wall, the curtain didn’t fit, and the bathroom flooded during every shower.
Breakfast was low quality (watery eggs, cold potatoes, coffee that tasted like dirty water), and we even witnessed workers drinking on the job.
The staff we interacted with were friendly, but that does not make up for the condition of this property.
We are Travel Pass members, so we know what Sonesta is capable of and this is NOT it. The photos online do not match reality at all. We were completely misled.
This stay raised serious concerns about cleanliness and safety. We will not be returning.
