Small room, but with almost all you need - a comfortable bed, everything clean. Some noise from neighboring units, so bring ear plugs. But if you go there because of the "free breakfast," be warned. A granola bar - seriously? Breakfast?

I'm debating on a 3 or 4 stars overall rating for this place. Decided on a fair 3 stars as follows: Pros: - Friendly front desk staff - Clean bathroom (newly renovated?) - Complete room necessities; microwave, mini fridge, closet, drawers, TV and desk. - 2 comfortable beds - Simple but pleasant room decor. - Safe location and close proximity to shops and stores (walking distance) - Laundry mat about 5 blocks away. Cons: - Misleading ad on free breakfast. When we checked-in, we were told there will be a grab and go like breakfast bars or muffins but did not deliver. We stayed there for 6 days and no breakfast at all. We primarily booked in that hotel because we wanted an easy grab and go breakfast esp. for my son. This will help us not rush in the morning. A quick light snack could hold him until we are ready to head out for our day. I came down every morning to check and finally gave up. The lady in the front would just say sorry, no breakfast and then that's it. I asked if they would serve it the next day, she said no. This should not be in their booking site if they are not planning on serving breakfast - grab and go or otherwise. - Carpet in our room is black in color. My son's feet also turns black as in dirt black, socks as well. This bothered me immensely so we started to use slippers or shoes inside our room. I mentioned this to our housekeeping but She just nodded. I am unsure if she understood or spoke English because I asked her for room clean up, she nodded too but our room was not clean that night we came back. Overall, it was not a bad stay. If I could have overlooked those 2 cons, it could have been a much better stay.

This place is great! The charming exterior is complimented by lovely modern and stylish interiors. Its close to public transit, shops, restaurants etc and they have parking and wifi! Staff was super nice and helpful. There's even a cool thrift store across the street, what more could you want for these very reasonable prices
