We stayed at The Burgundy for one night, and the room appeared to be undergoing renovations, but we were still charged the full room rate and were not informed about the condition beforehand. Unfortunately, the room was in poor condition. There were handwritten color markings on multiple walls that appeared to be related to ongoing renovation work, a hole and damage in the bathroom wall, damaged bedside tables, and dirty/damaged bedding. There was also an old box fan in the room that did not appear clean. Overall, the furniture, walls, and room did not feel properly maintained or ready for guests. For a one-night stay, the price felt especially hard to justify. If the room was still being renovated or awaiting repairs, we should have been informed before our stay or offered a reduced rate. The room simply did not feel worth the amount we were charged.

We needed a place to stay in Big Bear before an early morning meeting. The price was reasonable. My Wife and I got a 2 queen room. It was very spacious and clean. The shower was very large and the towels were great. The decor of the office and room reminded me of the late 60s early 70s. The bed was firm and comfortable. It got down to 25 that night and the heater kept is toasty warm. They have a continental breakfast that met our needs perfectly. I appears like they’ve done a lot of recent work, new exterior paint, new sidewalks and blacktop. Hotel staff were very friendly both during check in and check out. We would have no problem staying here again.

We have a great room! I believe it is one of the newly renovated ones. Clean, clean, clean, cozy and perfect size. You walk into a living room with small kitchenette, with huge sink, stove top, small fridge and small breakfast bar. The bathroom is clean, the bedroom and sheets are clean. The young man who checked us in extremely kind!
