Travelodge Bishop

Hotel was very clean, had everything we needed, i.e., ironing board and iron, enough hangers, hooks on the doors, safety bar in the shower, refrigerator, microwave. Older hotel, not fancy, but perfect for a few days stay. Off the main road, so much quieter. Good location for what we wanted to do in the area.

Room was dirty, I put comforter on floor to walk to the restroom. Restroom had mold in the shower. Window had a pull-down shade required as the curtains were so thin you could see through them, the pull-down shade had holes in it and was falling apart. I would not stay here again. The Kicker - there was an envelope in the room asking for a tip for the cleaning crew. There are several places near the little main strip that would be a better choice with equal to lower prices. I paid $146 for a weekday in September.

rooms are old, noisy, in need of a refresh, dated, icky. Not a good value for the price. Paid a premium price because of Labor Day weekend, poor planning on my part, but, a disappointing choice.
