Safari Inn, a Coast Hotel

Great stay. Just a few recommendations for improvements. 1. A better microwave in the laundry area. The one provided was too small and not ideally located. 2. Provide conditioner in the shower. 3. Better bottom seal on bottom of door. Seems like a large gap for bugs to get in. 3. More umbrellas on upper deck. Great area but needs more protection from sun. 4 Provide a better explanation of WiFi and app casting for tv. Was not aware until 3 days in. Besides that everything was great!

Do not stay at the Safari Inn. They charge you in full for your reservation at check-in. And then they only honor early checkout if you provide 48 hours' notice. Construction in an adjoining room? They don't tell you that on check-in, and that the noise makes your room useless during the week days of your stay. Do they reimburse you for that? Nope. Just "sorry, thanks for bringing it to our attention". Here's another insult - they charge $25/day for parking - in Burbank! - so at minimum just park on the street. Easily managed. Oh, and don't forget the $200 security deposit. A week stay there saw my room rate vary from a low of $135/night to $209/night. Booked for a week (Sat to Sat), my circumstance changed and I checked out Wednesday (four nights use only out of seven). Coast Hotels out of Canada now owns Safari Inn - so be advised of that, too. I've written their CEO Takamasa Machiura / Coast Hotels / 535 Thurlow Street / Ste 700 / Vancouver, BC V6E 3L2. Make note of that name and address if you have a problem, too, with Safari Inn. Stay elsewhere when you have business in Burbank.

Clean, great service! A+++++
