Motel 6 South

The Air Conditioning doesn't work, so we had to leave. Everyone had their doors and windows open. The property staff were pleasant and cordial. Also gave helpful tips to atyemot a refund. Booked through Agoda via Super.com and redund is tentative. Pool area was nice enough especially for the price. Stairs up to the 2nd floor were a bit precarious. Communal microwave in the vending machine room.

Saw the middle day front desk worker, i think he was African American, get into arguments with customers. They even had a guy from outside threaten this Mom and her Daughter. Me and the boys decided to go to a different hotel instead got up out of there.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! Would have given it a 0 if that were an option. Drove from AZ, and everywhere was booked. It was either go back home or stay. (4th of July weekend) 1. Our stay was cancelled without me cancelling it. This happened to multiple people we ran into there. Had to reserve another room and paid more. This is apparently a common thing for this motel. “Luckily” we were able to get the last room. Others checking in when we did were told they didn’t have a reservation. They even had confirmation, but it didn’t matter. A lot of angry people. 2. AC DID NOT WORK!!!!! Maintenance brought in a huge fan that sounded like a helicopter. He found what was wrong with the blower, but the owner wouldn’t approve the fix. 3. No housekeeping!! I’ve never heard of this. You have to stay at least 3 days to get housekeeping. I had to go to the office for fresh towels. 4. They ran out of clean towels. Housekeeping didn’t wash any towels. Went to office to get towels…. Nothing. NEVER experienced this!!!! We’d spent the day at the beach over 4th of July weekend and had to dry off with our sandy beach towels after showering. 5. Pics are very deceiving. SMALL!!!! We had to step between the beds for the other to walk past. I’ve stayed in better places when driving and needed to make an emergency stop in the middle of nowhere. This place should be condemned!
