We went to this hotel in the third week of July 2026. Everything was perfect from the day we checked in. Room was ready when we arrived. We had ocean view room, it was outstanding. Inside everything worked, we had full kitchen with all equipment. Resort ground well kept and organized. Enough free parking on site for everyone. On Wednesday they have vine and cheese tasting in the lobby, free of charge. Heated pool and jacuzzi a plus! Location is very convenient if you want to go shopping or visit Carmel downtown. Resort is pricey, but it worth it. Most likely will return next year.

There isnt a more falsely advertised hotel with the pictures vs. what you get. We came in Jube 16th...room was not ready until 5 pm and we are checking out the next morning. They do not tell you the rooms reek of fire place smells built into the furniture. We could not breathe! It waa outdated even though we were told it was recently renovated. Yeah I the 70s! Staff was great, manager lied to our face!

I have no idea why the lower ratings! The room was not 2026 modern but it was clean, nice two story loft with a beautiful ocean view. Hotel staff was nice and responsive. Sooo much to do in Carmel area! Point Lobos, aquarium, whale watching, and just gorgeous! Favorite activity was the Big Sur bike rental for a guided Carmel tour. Wish we had time to sign up for a tour everyday. Favorite restaurant was Mission Ridge … just gorgeous! Pacific Rim restaurant at the hotel was pricey but really amazing and the view unmatched! I had read reviews and was not super excited about this trip but absolutely everything was fantastic for 6 days. Ended up being one of our favorite vacations. I would come back to this resort a million times over!
