The room was smelling of urine and heavy cleaning chemicals.Bedding questionable,didn not sit on bed!!! Heavy gummy film on doors, horriffic conditions. This owner is housing homeless! "GUAREENTEED INCOME!!!!!!!!!! There were homeless living directly across from our room, open fire in parking lot cooking meal! Not only was it dirty and smelling , felt unsafe! We were informed homeless are housed ther using vouchers from social services!!! Shame on owner, accepting bookings from travelers who have NO KNOWLWDGE of conditions. We got out of there and found ACCEPTIBLE lodging.

The location cannot be beat, close to basically everything available in this quaint little seaside town. I stayed in a large room near the far back of the facility and although the highway is mediately beside the motels property I did not hear any of the highway traffic at all. I've rented many of the town and surrounding areas rooms over the years and I will say that this is one of the best kept secrets anywhere near here it's nice to open the door and not be inundated with scent, good, bad, or horrible! The room is clean, the heater works great, the huge television works emediatly and great. The key card for the door is very responsive and not at all finicky as I've found many others to be in other locations. The refrigerator works great the shower has plenty of hot water and decent pressure. My bathtub drained just fine infact if anything there didn't seem to be a way to plug the drain for a hot soak before my shower. Towels were adequate and of coarse if you have read the other reviews, then you know that the bedding is clean and again not over perfumed and very comfortable mattress. If I had to pick it apart, I could say that the hairdryer needed it's screen brushed out and there was dust on the ironing board feet as they hung on its hook but how great is it that those things are offered in the first place? Truth be told, if people were to come to my abode and had to be critical of it they might well find dust or filters in need of a once over as well. All in all it's been a good room and in comparison to local lodging offered definitely a step up!

We booked on a short notice, read reviews, and were pleased with the stay. Faith, at check in, was great!!! Very helpful and customer service oriented. Place was located well for our needs. Clean, and quiet. Ice machine needs some TLC, but still making 'ice'
