Yosemite View Lodge

Stayed here when visiting Yosemite. Functional hotel, with great facilities and a great touch where the games room is free. Restaurant and pizza cafe onsite, pretty good. Worth a stay

This hotel was a great find! We loved it. We had a room with a river view which was amazing! The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had a kitchenette with microwave cooktop fridge and has some cups plates silverware etc. there is also laundry machines on site. We ate at the restaurant twice and it was delicious. We had salmon and ribs. It has a game room with pool tables shuffleboard air hockey and a few other games and a gym. We did not try the pizza place. The location really can’t be beat! It’s so close to the entrance to the park. The store on site has all the essentials plus alcohol but ladies beware there is no hair conditioner. You must bring your own! Would totally stay here again!!

This property definitely has a lot of things going for it - quick, easy access to Yosemite Valley (Arch Rock entrance), decently sized rooms with nice kitchenettes and provided cookware, silverware, and plates, a location right on the river, and great air conditioning that was our primary reason for staying here instead of in the valley. There is a well-stocked store where you can buy food to cook or snacks as well as 2 on-site restaurants that we did not try. However, it definitely falls short of what it could be. They advertise they have 4 pools, but they absolutely do not, there were only 2 pools and the only outdoor pool was on the opposite side of our property from the room and small. There was no parking near our room most nights and we had a decent walk from where we were able to get a spot, and there was construction stuff near a lot of what could be the nice river area. Definitely convenient and had some positives, but fell short of expectations especially with not having advertised amenities.
