Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near Lax

We stayed for the 2026 World Cup quarterfinals between Spain and Belgium due to the location near the stadium. Also located near LAX airport, it is a quiet hotel in an area far from downtown Los Angeles. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast could be more complete but it is acceptable. The pool is fine, but it gets quite a bit of shade during the day.

I can't really speak to location, cleanliness or anything else because my trip got cancelled and this hotel, despite me making a request almost a month prior to my arrival, refused to allow me to cancel and issue me a refund. And boy, did I try. I made the booking through Orbitz and had them attempt to get a refund, which was denied. I then left two unanswered messages with the manager and finally tracked someone down a week later. And again, despite me requesting this almost a month prior to my arrival, I was turned down flat. It's not like I was asking something extraordinary...I travel a lot and have never had a problem before. So, bottom line, if there is any chance that your trip details might change, or you experience any kind of problem and you want to talk to someone over there, well, by all means, book with these people. It's like talking to a wall.
