Best Western Plus Orange County Airport

The stay was perfect. Just the racist experience I had with the girl in the dining room, we were two guests and she just wanted to give me a single plate, she watched me and made me uncomfortable.

Stayed here because the reviews were better than other hotels. FYI: If you have issues with your room, YOU MUST SHOW STAFF IMMEDIATELY & REQUEST ANOTHER ROOM. Per the Manager, you won't be believed even if you have pictures. Pro: Front desk & dining room staff were nice. - We received items requested when the cleaning staff was asked. -Breakfast was ok. Con: The linen on the bed WAS NOT changed before we checked in (hair, body fluids, & other stains)! - Black spots on shower curtain. - Dead cockroach near dining hall. - The manager wasn't available during our stay. He NEVER CONTACTED ME! THE MANAGER DOESN'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY OR ANY EVIDENCE YOU HAVE! YOU NEED TO LET STAFF SEE ISSUES WITH THEIR OWN EYES. - La Quinta, which had multiple reviews in various locations regarding cockroaches, had several cop cars at the Santa Ana location (across from Best Western) 1 of the nights we were there. - If you're not on the top floor, you will hear the people above you (kids running in their room throughout the night) - Don't stay by the pool unless you don't mind kids screaming at 830p.

Located 13 minutes from UC Irvine. Very clean room, good value. Pool was loud, but shut down at 9:40 -ish. The mattress in room room 218 was pretty tired. We could feel the springs, and it sagged to the middle. Other than that, it was a great room. We had to leave very early, and the staff in the kitchen were beyond cool. Breakfast wasn't supposed to start until 0630, but they were gracious enough to let us get coffee and a danish at 0540, when they got there. Totally friendly about it, zero attitude, and very nice ladies. I would stay here again if needed.
