The bartender, Jeff, was the highlight of our stay. Great personality, very charming and great bartending skill and knowledge. Took a class on making cocktails that was entertaining and fun. Wish he was local for us

Front desk staff were excellent, thank you to Matt and his coworker (whose name I can’t recall right now) for their care and attention to our family’s needs - it made a big improvement for our situation!

My husband and I reserved this hotel for a recent trip to Disneyland. We wanted a nice, clean, comfortable, safe hotel to stay at that offered food on property, and was close to Disneyland and reasonably priced. This Courtyard by Marriott delivered! We are Marriott Bonvoy members (nothing fancy like Elite yet...haha!) and booked via the Marriott Bonvoy website. Our cost for 2 nights was about $290. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night. They also gave us 2 free bottles of water at check-in for being Marriott Bonvoy members. For reference, there are also 2 large bottles of Evian water in the room which are $5 each. We arrived about 11:00 am which is right around check-in time so we did not expect a room to be ready yet. They stored our luggage at the front desk, and we walked down to the CVS on the corner to purchase some snacks and drinks, as well as some reading glasses since my husband lost his on the trip. We came back and started checking out the menu for the restaurant they have at the hotel called The Bistro. It is kind of a bar and restaurant combination. We ate food from there twice (ordered to go) and both times it was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. They are open 6:30 am - 9:30 am for breakfast, and 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed the chicken and bacon quesadilla and my husband had the turkey avocado sandwich (with no avocado). Their French fries are also very tasty! They have coffee makers in the room, but they also serve a limited Starbucks menu at the Bistro. I had a caramel macchiato and iced lemon loaf one morning and it was good. They also have a small sundries shop behind the front desk called The Market that carries drinks, snacks, and some over the counter medications at reasonable prices. My husband inquired again to see if a room was ready at Noon, and the front desk agent was kind enough to find us a room that was ready! We stayed in room 452 on the 4th floor. Our room overlooked the Ruth Chris Steakhouse next door. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I am not sure how booked the hotel was during our stay, but I only heard other guests in the hallway a few times during our stay. They offer an in-room refrigerator, hair dryer, tub/shower combo, make-up remover wipes (2), lotion, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable though I would have liked firmer pillows, but I was able to sleep well. The air conditioner worked well, but was a bit on the noisy side though I don't need it completely quiet to sleep. There is no microwave in the room, but there is one available for guest use by The Bistro. They also offer plain and flavor-infused water (different flavors each day - we had lime one day and cucumber the next) for free in the hotel lobby. The Pool area was very nice also. I went for a soak in the hot tub on the first night (around 7:00 pm). There were only 6 people in the pool area (2 in the hot tub), and after a short time I was the only one there. The area was clean, relaxing, and well maintained. The hot tub water was definitely warm, but so nice! They have towels at the Pool which is nice, and your room key gives you entrance to the Pool area. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful. We checked out at 11:00 am on our last day then headed to Disneyland. They stored our luggage the entire day until we returned from the park around 10:00 pm. We then hung out in the lobby until it was time to catch our bus/train (we rode Amtrak down from Reno). Overall it was a great stay with no issues. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area again. I highly recommend this hotel for those going to Disneyland and they are a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel also. Though it is within walking distance to Disneyland, if you want to save your feet it is also about $10 with tip for a Lyft ride each way. There are other shuttles for a fee available that may be cheaper, but Lyft or Uber will get you there without all the stops and be much more comfortable.
