Americas Best Value Inn - Los Angeles

The Lexmar is a solid 3 star hotel. Very clean and neat, very conveniently located. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was sparkling clean. Sheets very soft, plenty of towels available. I would definitely stay at the Lexmar again.

I went here for one night to get away from home. Frankly my expectations weren't high from the moment I stepped on the property, you can tell it's a cheap motel with that drive right up to your room parking. I didn't have a car so parking wasn't an issue anyways but points for convenience I guess. I was given room 201 which was right off the stairs and right next to the ice machine which was nice. The room was very very small, one of the smaller rooms I've stayed in. The bathroom was also very small but functional with a small shower toilet and sink, the water pressure and heat in the shower were both good. The bed was nothing fancy and had a bounce to it, but the sheets were soft and looked clean. Upon close expectation the room was a bit dingy with all the furniture having marks on them and the pillows on the bed were comically small. All that being said, it had a cozy feel to it and for $115/night (when Holiday Inns are charging over $200 including deposit) was reasonable. The room also had a cleverly put in microwave and mini fridge. The TV seemed to have basic cable but I didn't watch the TV much. All in all I would stay again, especially for the price. It's not as nice as a Holiday Inn or Embassy Suites but it was cheap clean coZy and reasonable.
