The worst security service and paring privacy rules. I have been living at the Ava for 8 month and they just changed their policy from October 2023. Security persons very aggressive and noncommittal.

We stayed here for 3 nights, we chose this place for its location more than anything. There seems to be work going on and the place looks much better than the pictures it’s had a bit of a revamp it seems Really clean great views, the apartment it’s self was lovely only downside is our WiFi didn’t work nor did our tv remote we asked someone to come and take a look and no one ever came. Apart from that no problems comfy bed clean apartment great views nice area

It’s hard to even know where to begin and with limited space to write this I’ve made a short list: -Extremely rude staff. Never seem to want to help. Don’t acknowledge you as you walk into the office. Treat you like peasants really. -Multiple plumbing issues with a months wait for it to be fixed. Never saw any compensation or refund on some rent when 4 people were forced to share one shower. (Photo attached: this sat in the bottom of one of the showers for a month). Contacted reception multiple times and they kept saying someone would be there to fix it. No one ever came .. Then both toilets in the apartment filled with sewage, weren’t able to use them for 3 days. -Overcharged on rent and haven’t seen a refund yet. -No allocated parking and after returning from a late class and driving around the complex for AN HOUR the female security staff told myself and another 20 year old girl to park approximately 2km down the road and walk back. Not very helpful and astounded she would suggest something so unsafe at 1am. -Check in time was never made clear and when we arrived we were told we could get into our room at 1.30pm. Sat around and the time was just pushed back and back until finally at 5pm we could get into our room (after a 15 hour flight and sitting around for hours). Never heard of an establishment with such a late check in time. -Mailing system was an absolute joke. The idea is it can be dropped outside your apartment and then possibly be stolen. Or it is dropped off to reception and they don’t contact you. You have to keep going back to check and ask if the package has arrived (don’t be expecting anyone to smile or treat you at all nicely). The third place it could go is this magical mailbox that no staff member ever told me or the three other guests I was staying with about. We were apparently supposed to be psychic and just know that it existed and where to find it. -Everything is dirty and old. The sheets, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the towels, the carpet. It’s all disgusting and so so so overpriced. I have never experience a worse stay in my life. This place is disgusting and please take my advice to never stay here.
