Amazing hotel and highly helpful staff! The staff goes out of their way to make this an excellent stay! The views from the ocean overlooking hotel were spectacular!

What a perfect stay at the beautiful Timber Cove perched on the cliffs above the Pacific. The hotel, restaurant and grounds are all marvellous. We already booked next year's stay!

Timber Cove was the final stop on my first solo trip through Northern California, after traveling from Truckee through Calistoga and wine country and finally making my way to the coast. And good-googly-moogly, what a way to end an adventure!!! I was traveling solo after losing my husband, so this trip meant much more to me than simply taking a vacation. It was about healing, being brave enough to do something new on my own, and discovering that there is still a whole lot of beautiful life out there to experience. My ocean-view room and deck were absolutely AMAZING, but what made Timber Cove even more special were the people. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and I was fortunate enough to meet some of the sweetest fellow travelers during my stay. As a woman traveling alone, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. Quite the opposite—I felt welcomed. I explored the coast, put my feet in the Pacific, watched the sun disappear into the water from my deck, enjoyed a wonderful dinner, laughed, talked to strangers who didn't stay strangers very long, and had plenty of quiet moments just to sit and take it all in. Somewhere between the Louisiana bayous and that California coastline, this Louisiana girl discovered she rather likes being a California girl too—even if only temporarily. 😉 Timber Cove will always be part of a very special chapter in my life. I came there at the end of my first solo adventure and left knowing with a little more certainty that I can do this. I will absolutely be back. ❤️
