Quality Inn Kingsburg

One room had roaches. The other room had a broken microwave. NO ice available and it looks like the machine has been broken for a while. Lowest quality wifi I have ever experienced at a motel. Both rooms had odors so that we had to get air fresheners for each. No water cups, coffee in office was out or cold, in the morning. The rooms were clean.

I knew I would have some extra time so I chose this Motel 6 because they advertised a pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub are there, but as of October 2023 padlocked with a county health department sign saying they are closed due to unsafe and unsanitary conditions. The room was clean enough and the location is close to downtown Kingsburg so while the pool issue was discouraging, otherwise the stay was all right.

When we arrived, the few people loitering in the parking lot were not really looking for serenity. Swimming pool to avoid: the swimming pool does not seem to be really maintained (water of a strange color, leaves and insects have not been collected for a while). Average cleanliness. Average bedding.
