We love the La Jolla area and had a great time at the beach, tennis, pickleball, and dining. Staff was courteous, kind and helpful with anything we needed. Our room and bathroom, unfortunately, was so tiny with a twin and double bed. Our neighbors had all of their wet bathing suits and boogie boards outside hanging all over the place because there is absolutely no room in the bathroom or room to put anything. I've stayed here in the past in a two-bedroom which was a much better experience, but the rooms are very outdated and dirty "looking" old tiles, floors, etc. Beds were comfortable, but again, tiny and cramped. The club itself is a fun and enjoyable experience...so if you don't care about the in-room experience, it's a lot of fun. Being that it's a pricey place to stay that we considered a "splurge," we felt the room quality was a huge disappointment and would not stay here again.

Our family has been coming here annually over 10 years as hotel guests. We highly recommend this beach and hotel. You can't get better than what they have to offer!

Our stay was outstanding. It's a very expensive indulge for a family, but we loved it. The staff at every experience, from front desk, beach, dining, bellman, housekeeping were well trained, helpful, attentive and kind. It's a nostalgic experience at the resort. Thank you!
