Staff professionally handled a loud Karen who wanted the free breakfast but she wasn't a guest

My company booked the hotel for a conference. Arrived late after several delayed flights, so I didn't realize the night clerk was making a copy of our driver's licenses until after the damage was done. He refused to delete it - told me it was scanned. and policy that they did it for everyone. When I went to check out I asked to have the scan deleted. She told me the "night auditor" had "thrown the photocopy away" A scan is not a photocopy - someone is lying. I asked if it shredded or just tossed because I want confirmation that it's safely gone. She couldn't tell me what actually happened. If you value your safety and identnty, don't stay here.

We like long beach and have stayed in this hotel before. We like the hotel. The room is great with high ceilings, like natural body washing, shampoo and conditioners. Only little thing is the bed is too soft. And these were not enough duvets to provide. Since one of us needs to sleep on the floor due to back issues. The first night needed to sleep with towels. The second night managed to get one from house keeping. We need two pieces, but at least got one. Thanks to house keeping ladies! Just wondering why the hotel couldn’t order extra blankets for guests. That’s simple and easy. The breakfast is good. They could have provided plants based milk though. The dispenser need to be functioning completely! The pool temperature is under 26 since we only can swimming around 28 degrees. Overall, the hotel is good , but could be great!
