HACIENDA HOTEL

I got all the way through my check-in process before being told that they were air-conditioned rooms.” this was on the kind of night where you needed air-conditioning in Los Angeles. The property is seriously dated. You could see paint peeling on the exterior. There was some sort of storage room that was visible with mattresses stacked up in it. The parking lot is sketchy. Honestly, I can’t believe Marriott puts their logo on this property. The employees were quite friendly… You could tell they knew. I feel sorry for the person who has to respond to all the bad reviews. It can’t be easy, coming up with new things to say.

Lobby small and was stinky.. maybe a sour mop? Didn’t smell good. Luis specifically was kind and helpful . I always like someone friendly at check in when you are hot and tired . Pool Is shaded between buildings and small. Pool and drive Shared w A loft . A loft is more recently redone. Room was clean ..but wallpaper peeling off in bathroom, towels could use an upgrade .. basic room. hallways had no AC.. shuttle to airport is great. Every 30 Min around the clock. That’s big. I sometimes come And work on my house in Manhattan Beach and will grab a Marriott if I end not being ip and back in one day…wouldn’t come here as a destination but works for this type of trip . Zero airport noise here and easy to the beach and nearby eats no water view ..it’s more Sepulveda cement jungle but safe clean place to crash.

Stayed here recently and honestly enjoyed my stay from start to finish. Larry made check in super easy and was great to work with. I did have a couple issues with my room, but Tania at the front desk was quick to help and got everything taken care of. The shuttle was also really convenient for my parents, and they had nothing but good things to say about their experience. Overall, we had a really great stay and I’d definitely come back. Hope everyone else enjoys it as much as we did!
