Motel 6 Los Angeles Lax

Look how low their rating is. A Motel Six that has owners who nickel and dime you. No free courtesy shuttle. $20 round trip. No free parking. $20 daily. No free bag storage $5.00 Pets don't stay free A whopping $20 (They post a sign) I'm surprised they didn't charge a fee for the bed. And no coffee to be found where I would gladly pay a fee. Stay at another place and come out better after they impose all the charges. On top of this, they actually charge a fee for the deposit which no longer isn't just an authorization. I've never stayed at a Motel Six that imposes so many fees.

I stayed at Motel 6 for four nights, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. To begin with, housekeeping only comes every three days, which I found to be far too infrequent. During one of the housekeeping visits, my portable charger went missing from my room. I am certain that I left it there and discovered that it was missing after my room had been cleaned. When I checked out, I spoke with Ms. Hera to let the hotel know what had happened. Unfortunately, instead of listening to my concern or offering assistance, she responded in a very rude and disrespectful manner. She told me, “You can’t blame anyone since you saw nothing, and we know the people who work here.” Her tone made me feel as though she was accusing me of lying rather than taking my concern seriously. Of course, I understand that I cannot personally identify who took my charger because I did not see it happen. However, I know that I left my portable charger in the room, and it was missing after housekeeping cleaned the room. I was simply reporting the incident and expected to be treated with respect and professionalism. The way Ms. Hera spoke to me was completely inappropriate and unnecessarily arrogant. A customer who reports a problem should be listened to and treated with courtesy, regardless of whether the issue can immediately be proven. On the other hand, I want to recognize Trenya for being thoughtful and professional. She suggested that I speak with the person responsible for housekeeping to address the issue. That is exactly the kind of helpful and respectful response customers hope to receive when they encounter a problem. Overall, this experience was disappointing, particularly because of the way my concern was handled. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that guests are treated with respect when they report an issue.

I chose it because it is close to the airport; it works well for one or two nights before departure. However, it is very basic. Essential. There is no fridge in the room, not even a small one, and what bothers me the most is that they don't even provide a measly bar of soap. I had my suitcases still closed, with shower gel inside, and I didn't know how to wash my hands. I had to go to the reception to ask, and they gave it to me. It really seems like the height of absurdity! There are hotels of the same category that provide a hairdryer and an iron with an ironing board. On the ground floor, there are vending machines with drinks, pre-cooked food, and a microwave. Small pool, although with a wide-angle lens, it appears large. Shuttle service at a cost of 10 euros per ride (with Uber, we paid less for the return trip). Another consideration: they only provide one "magnetic key" to open the door, so you are very dependent on the other person's schedule. In front of the hotel, on the right, there are various shops, takeaways, a supermarket, fast food, etc. The supermarket has everything for breakfast: sweets, savory items, and hot coffee of all kinds, milk, and juices. Managed by people who speak Spanish, very, very kind.
