Rather than the typical Best Western experience we expected, this SureStay property is more of a low-end motel. On checkin, there was no soap in the room and only one roll of toilet paper. The room is very basic; no closet (hangers on the wall), though there is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Bedside light and outlets were non-functional on one side. Toilet is uncomfortably low. Shower floor very slippery with no texture, bathmat or bar for holding. There is no shower shelf for soap or shampoo. Included breakfast very basic - Waffle maker, cereal and breads, yogurt, coffee and apples, and some orange liquid masquerading as OJ. On our last morning, there were no waffles or yogurt - we were told there was total turnover in staff overnight, so they didn't know how to restock breakfast room. Free parking is nice perk, but exit through the extremely narrow ramp is difficult for most cars. The walls are notably scraped up by many previous attempts. Positives: comfortable bed, good A/C and good neighborhood to walk. We will not be staying again on our return to LA.

Nice rooms and very accommodating staff. Having arrived at the hotel earlier than usual, we asked if we can leave our luggage at the counter. Ms Bridgette Joy instead gave us a room earlier than the usual check in time. The hotel is also near most tourist sites and malls. Price is also reasonable.

We chose this property due to proximity to the place of business and because of affordability at the time of booking. The place is quite outdated and worn out, just the same served the purpose of stay. The bed and duvet is comfortable. The breakkfast was included and fresh waffle (DIY) is a nice addition to the menu. The property has parking for guests, a grab n go (drinks, few essentials, snacks) at the reception. It would have been nice if the quantity of the amenity (shampoo and conditioner) matched the room guests. One 22ml for each (shampoo and coditioner) for two guests surely was insufficient. I opted not to ask since we were staying for two nights only. It's not a deal breaker but nice touch to anticipate guests' needs. The airconditioning is really good. Though the room was clean there was a strange smell that I could not describe but got rid off with a spray of perfume. We stayed at 112 and could hear the floor above us creaking whenever there's movement in the room. The disposable cups in the breakfast room and guest room had a strange/peculiar smell that affects the taste of the beverage (coffee or tea).
