The Hotel Angeleno

We stayed for 4 nights from mid August. The hotel restaurant is great and the continental breakfast is a quick and easy way to start the day. The bedrooms was ok, but bathrooms could do with an update. The biggest issues the hotel has is maintenance. Over 10 stores and 1 working elevator during the whole trip. Luckily was walked from the 2nd floor room, but getting up and down from the top floor for breakfast was hard. The biggest issue was the air con units, I have never stayed in a hotel room where the the airlock was so loud. And I don’t think it got the room below 80. Stay clear if you want a decent nights sleep, or if you are to sleep in a hot room.

We stayed at Hotel Angelino LA as a family and had an absolutely brilliant experience. The hotel has a stylish, modern feel while still being warm, welcoming, and comfortable for all ages. It does give business vibes. The breakfast was included with great choice. It can become quite busy at peak times so we did have to queue. Our room was spotless, updated, and really comfortable, small but everything well maintained. The pool area was lovely — clean, calm and intimate. It’s a great spot to relax, and the whole outdoor area is beautifully kept. The hotel itself is tidy, organised, and clearly well run, it’s a great location on the highway, meaning it’s about a 20/30 minute car journey to Hollywood, Santa Monica etc, Every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. They made the stay feel smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. You can order uber directly from them which is charged to your room. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, cleanliness, and great service — a place we’d definitely return to.

This hotel is far more expensive than it appears. There are fees for everything. When you look it up online, much of the information that comes up is out-of-date or wrong. Be sure that what you are reading is directly from their website. They are known for offering special services to families with members in the UCLA hospital, but you have to book through THEIR website. If you already booked your room and then find out about these discounts, they will NOT honor them. They don't actually care about the people, just the bragging rights. By promising discounts and then adding restrictions and pre-requisites, they are reaping the rewards for the promised services, but not providing them to those who were not privvy. They also take advantage of people who need a room at the last minute. If you have a family member who is admitted to the hospital, this is not the place to stay. They charged me over $400 for the same room that costs $125 the following week. On top of everything, they have one of the most expensive parking fees for hotels. The service members were unsympathetic and impatient. I will not stay here again. If could have cancelled, I would have
