Comfort Suites Marysville

The first night my wife and I were given a room on the highway side of the building, and the noise was so bad we didn't get any sleep at all. We were moved the next day and were able to sleep the last night. Once home and viewing our credit card billing, I discovered they charged us an extra $14.76 for our second night with no explanation. I called them and was told that by signing our registration document we agreed to flexible room rates that were included in the fine print of the registration document. I indicated that we should have been verbally informed, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Won't go there again.

Do not stay here! We booked SIX months in advance a two bedroom suite. We paid extra for this room. We only booked here Bc of this two room suite. We called two months before our trip to make sure it was still available and to add another night, they promised us that all was well and yes we could have another night. Great. We get there and it's not available. They offer us one room with two beds. That's not what we pre paid for. They offered us two rooms "one for free" but that's not true be we paid for two rooms. We take the two rooms bc we need the two room (special disabilities) One of the rooms is non livable. We couldn't even be in there for more than 5 minutes. It's smelt sooooo bad. It smelt of fresh cigarettes, mold, and throw up. We had to go to Walmart to buy febreeze and an air purifier THAT DID NOT HELP. It was so foul. The smell. The carpet stains, the ruins of furniture. The throw up smell / black mold smell in the bathroom. my asthma kids coughed all the next day. The owner: manger was so RUDE TO us. He said HE lost money yet we paid EXTRA to be in the two bedroom suite. ALSO.. lots of homeless people around premises and sketchy people inside the hotel which wouldn't have mattered but we needed to keep our doors open so the kids can go to and from each SEPARATE ROOM. seriously can't believe this happened we never see each other and this is how we spent our weekend

We were going to a concert nearby and had limited selections to choose from, it was an unfortunate decision to stay here. Our room was 1.5hrs late being ready, nobody at the front desk for 15 minutes and my wife went searching in the back room and manager’s office to no avail. The irritating part was I left two dress shirts behind and advised the front desk the following day and they said I had to mail the a prepaid shipping label in order for them to ship it back OR, I could “drive back and get them” LOL. We’ve traveled extensively for both business and pleasure and this is a first. I ended up shipping the label and box and it sat there from Aug 2nd to Aug 15th requiring two phone calls and an email asking why it hadn’t been returned…never received an explanation only an excuse why they require a prepaid shipping label. Next time it’s Holiday Inn Express.
