Holiday Inn Express Cannery Row

I loved the location. Central to all the things we wanted to do. Close to the trolley stops and the Aquarium. The rooms were spacious for my family of 4. Only thing is if you have mobility issues or bad knees this is not the hotel for you. It has sooooo many stairs and the elevator opens to stairs!! Hard to move luggage from car to room. The front desk employees are nice enough and helpful of you ask for what you need. Breakfast was helpful to get the kids fed and out the door!

Stayed for one night as a family of four. The location is great, room was a good size, free parking that fits SUV’s so all good there. Receptionists lovely. However we had to drag our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs. No ramp or lift. They have plastic cutlery in the restaurant that you can’t cut your food with! Please do people the courtesy of being able to eat your food with a proper metal knife and fork. Literally couldn’t cut the bacon at breakfast. Free coffee but no milk left out other than really sweet bottles of coffee mate creamer that came out in a gloop. The family upstairs from our room had young kids. No problem with that but they were jumping up and down and running across the room after 11pm at night and then again early in the morning. The receptionist did tell them to keep it down but they took no notice. So we didn’t get a great nights sleep.

I was traveling with my adult son and this hotel was perfectly located, very clean, our room with two double beds was spacious, beds were super comfy, and the breakfast had enough variety that we both were satisfied. The location was an easy walk to dinner and all the local attractions. Would 100% return again and highly recommend.
