Ascot Suites an Ascend Collection hotel

Very good location and spacious rooms, however much to improve in general... let's start with the fact that the property was recently renovated but not completely, just a superficial refresh.... Reception: you cannot welcome guests with the smell of an aviary.... At the reception there is a cage with parrots inside.....very beautiful but the idea of cleanliness is missing. Elevator: perpetually dirty on the floor Room: room not very clean and poorly maintained, the bathroom huge and sparse with cold blue LED light bulbs, operating room style. The shower is an old whirlpool tub with a filthy curtain. Shower remote and faucet practically broken and made of low-quality plastic. Bathroom floor in white stoneware marble effect so you could perpetually see hair and dirt....bathroom all shiny black and white and blue lights it looked like a cold operating room and not welcoming for relaxing. The balcony very beautiful but completely dirty with seagull droppings from years...unusable... Breakfast a sore point... it is an area that overlooks the garage, elevator area and the reception with the aviary... always cold and not welcoming cafeteria style... little stuff to eat and also of low quality with disposable plastic tableware... very simple not even hot milk was there... Terrace same conditions as the balcony abandoned and dirty... The gym is a small room without air circulation and poorly equipped In general property not at the level of Italian 3-star hotels

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly. On some sites, they show old photos of the property. The rooms are all up to date. Breakfast was pretty standard for hotels. Location is great. Allows you to walk to everything!

Had room without balcony. Spacious room with fireplace. It was summer, so didn't get to test it out. Can't say for sure if it was only our room but we didn't get hot water. The sink water gets warmer than the shower head. We were shaking after a.cold shower, Couldn't use tub for a good soak due to the low temperature. Free wine and cheese sample was nice but at odd hour, we were able to make one of two nights. Rooftop is a great spot to hangout and view the sunset, but lots of seagull poop, this is understandable, we know how menacing those birds are. Right next door to a great shave ice spot.
