Econo Lodge South

I will start with the name. Economy Inn - Ontario Airport, this Inn is not near the Airport. The closest you will get is hearing the planes fly over as the room rattles. The 24 hour front desk is a security window. The lobby and front desk is locked due to it not being a safe place. It says kitchenette and free breakfast but I count not find either of those here. The door kind of locks and the gap between the door and frame you can see the parking lot through. It might say it's a non-smoking hotel but people smoking outside my door might as well been in my room. Front desk or security window service was rude and abrupt. I had to ask for the slow Wifi password. Not a place I would bring anyone I like. The one and only positive thing was the cheap price. But very misleading to advertise that it's an airport hotel.

I submitted my review once and had to delete because if anyone reads it I want to be brutally honest. I can not in good faith recommend this hotel. The staff is courteous. The deposit is cheap and the price $95.00 is average for Ontario, California however, the room is really filthy. Not dirty actually filth. Years of dirt built up on appliances, scabs or mucous on walls, dirt in between furniture like it was swept there. The room smells nice, no bed bugs or roaches. Thank goodness however the owner's take no pride in ownership. With many choices in the area I do not understand how property owners are allowed to do this. Years of dirt visible in every corner especialy the bathroom. The only plusses are that is it is in walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant, Walgreens ad grocery stores. The parking lot is actually well manicured and spacious. It is nicer than the room. The sheets and bed spread appear clean however the towels are thin and look dirty. The bed is comfortable and we can survive the night however I wouldn't stay here again and if I was traveling with children we would leave now. All I can say is thank goodness there are no bugs!!

Dirty, trash in rooms, dirty soap in bathroom, construction everywhere, unfinished rooms, load AC, and bathroom lights not working. In addition, the AC was leaking and there was water all over the place.
