Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Oroville Southwest

Stayed here and while we got a really good deal, the rooms were dirty, including the bathroom. When I walked barefoot, I was finding debris clinging to my feet. The bathroom lacks adequate ventilation and has a spring loaded door so it was difficult to prop open to seen that ventilation. Because of the inadequate ventilation, it smelled so strongly of mold. There was also mold visible in the shower cracks, ceiling, and around the baseboards. The shower curtain was also dirty. It had pink-red marks that were likely makes up or something (hopefully) and dirty spots. If you’re going to choose white, people expect it to appear clean. I wouldn’t stay here again, sadly.

The room was well appointed and clean. The staff was helpful even though they seemed disinterested. The motel is conveniently located for hiking on Table Mountain, about a 20 minute drive. There are cheaper motels, but this one is a reasonable value. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for one night . The hotel itself is nice. Check in went smoothly. We had a show to attend so we just put our things in the room & left. Came back after midnight super tired. The room itself wasn't cleaned throughly. I took a shower & some dirty wash clothes were left hanging on the shower rod, there was a shoe print on the one bed, some pumpkin seeds on the floor, & the nastiest thing of all, we opened the shades in the morning & we noticed giant booger on one of the pictures on the wall. It's a nice place but they need to make sure to clean it throughly.
