BUTTERFLY GROVE INN

Attractive property in good Pacific Grove location, with swim pool and spa, large rooms, quiet after dark. Nice staff, easy parking, good WiFi. We took an ADA King that was extra large. Advice: do not head into Monterey for dinner during the rush hour. Eat at the Beach House at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove.

Stayed at the Butterfly Grove Inn for 1 night with my 4 yo grandson. The room had everything we needed (with the exception of a shower curtain). The pool and hot tub were great. The location to town and to the butterfly sanctuary couldn’t have been better. We had a blast and would return.

My wife and service dog enjoyed staying in a large well equipped room that was directly opposite the swimming pool and hot tub. We had a quiet 3 nights sleep and found plenty of fun stuff to do within a short vicinity of the hotel. Coffee is served beginning at 8am. Unfortunately no other breakfast items are available. There are walking paths that either go to Asilomar or in the opposite direction heading to Lookout point. An abundance of fine restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are very close by. I would recommend staying at this clean,comfortable hotel.
