Wonderful location, beautiful rooms and nice amenities like wine hour, fresh baked cookies and amazing home cooked full breakfast. We also enjoyed the complimentary bikes every day we where there. They are definitely city bikes, but great for riding to dinner or exploring around town. We stayed in the Carriage house, which was beautifully appointed and very spacious. Very private, (once you pull the shades) and quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Green Gables Inn for 4 nights in July. The environment and the staff are very welcoming. The setting is extremely picturesque - sitting just across the street from the water. We were able to walk to Cannery row and Lovers Point via the coastal path across the street. The inn is bright and has many windows on the main level, so you always get a fabulous view during breakfast and the wine hour. Both the breakfast and the wine hour are self serve, and there are plenty of delicious offerings for both. The breakfast included some hot offerings, such as french toast and quiche, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt and oatmeal - plenty of choices for everyone. We stayed in the Jennifer room which has a great window seat. The bed was comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was a decent size. The rooms have mini fridges and there are glass carafes to fill for water downstairs in the breakfast area. They also have a small fridge in that area where you can grab a soda or seltzer. We really loved our time at the inn and would definitely return if we were traveling back to the area.

Excellent location, wonderful atmosphere, great amenities, facing the ocean and close to the trail along the coast.
