The Curve Palm Springs

I stayed at this hotel Monday through Thursday and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The customer service was poor, and the pool was dirty and not well-maintained. I was looking forward to relaxing, enjoying my vacation by the pool, but that was impossible because of its condition. The pool bar was also a major let down every single day. There was nothing available, no beer or not a drink menu. So there was very little to choose from. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again based on my experience.

I stayed for 1 night in late February. My room (#201) was comfortable enough, though the interior felt a little minimal and characterless. My room was outfitted with a safe and a small fridge. There are free toiletries. The hotel's located just outside PS's downtown. The area is pretty quiet at night, and the property sits at the foot of Mt San Jacinto which is a stunning sight in the morning. The hotel is comprised of several 2-story buildings, but I didn't see any sign of an elevator. The central pool is a nice setup with lounge chairs, small tables and a few shade units. From around 5pm to 7pm, lounge music is piped into the pool area--(happy hour vibe?). The music is not loud, but you can still hear it if your room fronts the pool. There's a restaurant on the grounds, (Gigi's), it looked decent, but I didn't eat there. Finally, I stayed only 1 night, and it was a little expensive for what's offered. But, it IS Palm Springs--and like everywhere else--it's gotten expensive. Note, hotel rates drop during the summer; but, you'll have to contend with the merciless desert heat.

Motel adjacent hotel, we came here to escape the LA fires. The pricing is very fair and cheap, pool is cute… rooms are a little cheap, it feels… water pressure and showers are okay. We didn’t eat here, probably wouldn’t stay here again, unless there was a last minute emergency.
