The New Palm Springs Inn

The lady at reception was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The room was clean, and we really enjoyed the beautiful pool surrounded by lime trees. Breakfast was served at a nearby restaurant. There was also a coffee machine with a great selection of different coffee drinks. The kids loved it!

We stayed at the Inn at Palm Springs for 4 nights. There are a lot of things to really like about this small hotel. The woman at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. She gave us a quick tour of the hotel and showed us to our room. There’s a heated pool that’s a good size for a small hotel. The grounds are in great condition with lots of plants and sitting areas. There is no breakfast at the hotel, but they give you vouchers for breakfast at Rick’s restaurant which is just a quick drive. The food and the service at Rick’s were both great. We had a Signature King rooms that was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was daily maid service. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and large closet. The couch in the room was large and uncomfortable, felt like there was a metal bar that ran through the length of it. The only big negative is the shower. It is functional. The shower head comes down out directly from the ceiling. It’s cheap low quality workmanship that detracts from the care that was given to the other renovations in the room and the hotel.

This place is old in need of TLC. We paid over $200 per night but def not worth it. It was during the Indian Wells tournament so prices were probably raised. I love the quaintness, cute furniture in the lobby outdide the lower floor rooms, nice bright colors. There's a wonderful coffee machine that dispenses lattes and cappaccinos. Ice machine with filtered water. The bed is comfy. Microwave and small fridge in the room. The room is very small and crowded. It's pet friendly which is probably why my allergies and asthma kicked up. It was very musty and smelly. Hard to sleep but we spent very little time in the room. There's a pool that provides a nice relaxing setting to lay by. The floor by the pool has big chunks of paint peeled off. Furniture is nice. Rugs are layed out but may not be safe. I tripped and almost fell on cement. The best part were the vouchers we got for breakfast at Rick's Cafe down the street, included. Great deal!
