During the winter, in need of a quick getaway, we spent a few days at Dinah’s. Our family booked both a garden view room and a suite room. The former is lovely, simple, clean, and overlooked the pool. The Executive Suite was large , beautiful, with a kitchen area. The on-site restaurant was closed , due to a change of ownership. We returned over July 4 weekend, this time staying in the amazing 2 bedroom Asian Sunset Suite. Even the website’s video dies not dp it justice. Before our first trip, we wondered: could Dinah’s really be as lovely, unique, and exotic as the website makes it look? The answer is yes!!!! Spending r&r time in the room, strolling the grounds and waterside gardens, sitting by the pool, enjoying food from the restaurant, you feel a world away from the urban Bay Area. Kudos to the front desk, especially manager Alma Sanchez, who truly cares about guest comfort and enjoyment She went above and beyond to help us book the same wonderful room for a year from now. Big thanks to all Dinah’s staff and its owner, for creating and maintaining this distinctive Bay Area treasure!

We love dinosaur garden hotel. It is the best place to stay in the Palo Alto area. It’s like going to a luxury resort, but the price is great. The rooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant is terrific with meals by the pool. It’s right off El Camino, but feels like it’s far away from noise and stress.

As usual, everything was absolutely perfect at Dinah's! We had a mini fridge that wasn’t working and immediately maintenance brought us a new fridge that was larger and actually even better for what we needed. Our grandchildren who live nearby came and joined us to swim and feed the ducks and the Koi and it was all just perfect. We can’t wait to come back again. We’ve heard that the new Christmas train is amazing and we will happily await the email to book for the holiday season!
