BEST WESTERN PLUS VILLA DEL LA

Not enough towels for all guests. No pool towels at all, was told to air dry since it was hot outside. Ran out of food for breakfast. Marijuana smell and dirty bedding. No housekeeping service even after requested. Fire alarm going off and waking up baby, was told to just disconnect it. Guest’s checked in occupied rooms. Manager not helpful. Did not make herself visible to assist. Rude and unprofessional. Hung up call over the phone. Promised compensation nonetheless did not follow through. Called corporate and was told there is nothing they can do.

We stayed one night here on our way home from the Baja. We had our little dog, and I wasso happy with this hotel! The pet areas are grassy lawns; so welcome for the little paws. There is also a large variety of places, so if someone else is walking their dog, you have many choices. Rooms were spotless, smelled great, little bar inside with hot food (we had hot wings and tenders - delicious). Staff was friendly, accommodating and made sure our stay was great. Highly recommend!

We like this hotel and have returned here several times over the past 10 years. The lounge is no longer seven days a week full-service restaurant and bar. The elevator with a view is a nice touch. The breakfast is good and has a nice variety of choices.
